Gathering Systems-WY:GCC provided third-party consulting to evaluate existing CBM Facility. Facility consisted of over 150 wells tied to 5 main gathering lines producing 30.0 MMscf/d. GCC modeled the gathering system, identified bottlenecks and liquid separator issues and debottlenecked system. GCC’s efforts resulted in dropping average field well pressure from 45 psig to under 25 psig, replaced inefficient designed compressors with correct staged and sized compressors, developed cost analysis for improved gathering system and compression, and designed improvements along with managing the project to the construction phase. GCC modeled and designed system resulting in increased throughput of 5.0 MMscf/d and reduced compression rental costs and emissions by 20%.
Gathering Systems-Oklahoma: GCC provided third-party consulting to evaluate small 28 well gathering system and rental compressors at facility. GCC modeled the gathering system, identified bottlenecks and compressor issues, dropped average field well pressure from 85 psig to under 35 psig and replaced inefficient designed compressors with correct staged and sized compressors. GCC corrections resulted in 25% increase in MMSCF/D, reduction in CDP rental rates and elimination of 3 well head compressors and 4 pumping units.
Gathering Systems-Utah: GCC provided third-party consulting to evaluate 90 MMscf/d gathering system and CDP operation. GCC determined the four (4) at 2800 Hp drivers of the CDP station could be replaced with higher Hp drivers resulting in additional 15 MMscf/d throughput at lower suction pressures. Payout was less than a year. Gathering system improvements included new piping sections, redesigned well head separators and revised pitting operations.
