GCC and GCC partners offer unlimited options for your next compressor revamp. Our approach is to provide a solution that modifies your unit to not only operate efficiently under the new conditions, but to improve the book value of your unit. Our experience includes modifications to: skids, cylinders, drivers, electrification, piping, separators, coolers, frames and control system. GCC can also provide sweet gas to sour gas conversions, and gas drive to electric drive.
Compressor and Facility Revamp: Revamp an F3521GL/KOCA package from a single to a two-stage application. Revamp included: equipment overhauls and new cylinders, pressure vessels, off-skid piping, scrubbers, cooler sections, and controls. Facility revamp included the integration of two new compressor packages to operate in parallel with the revamp. GCC developed the project scope, issued RFQs, and managed the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning from conception to completion.
H2S Compressor Revamp: Prepared detailed evaluation of converting 2 @ FM-MEP/RDS-2 2 stage compressor to 1250 Hp Electric Drive 3 stage package suitable for Sour Gas. Evaluated skid design, cooler requirements, construction costs, skid redesign, beta and torsional analysis, and developed total project cost. Developed project RFQ and selected vendors for work.
Engine Revamp: Evaluated the cost and engineered the replacement of 4 @ Waukesha AT27/Ariel JGC-6 compressor packages to Caterpillar 3612LE/Ariel JGC-6 packages. GCC modifications allowed for additional 6 MMscf/d throughput per compressor and reduced emissions at the station NOx 28 tons/yr.
Used Equipment Sales: Sold client’s unused and/or obsolete compressors, Dehys, tanks, regenerators, separators and miscellaneous gas equipment. Current equipment sales to-date totaling over $1,750,000.00.
